Since last June, I am President of JADE Switzerland, the Swiss Confederation of Junior Enterprises. I am also Director of Internal Affairs, and responsible for Enlargement, Communication, IT, and Human Resource.
I manage a team of 3 people, my Vice-President who comes from Junior Entreprise HEC Lausanne, Secretary General from EHL Junior Entreprise, and Treasurer from Junior Entreprise Genève.
As an umbrella organisation, JADE Switzerland’s goal is to represent its network of eleven Junior Enterprises, support the development of our members, and integrate the network by providing an exchange platform for Junior Enterprises, notably by organizing events.
In short, a Junior Enterprise (JE), is a consulting firm managed by students that provides consulting services to real life clients. The services can widely vary according to the JE and the university it comes from, but in general we talk of a Market Research, a Business Plan, the development of a website, etc.
Theses Junior Enterprises are so very important for the local economy because they provide services much cheaper than the big consulting firm, and at the same time bring university students closer to the market. We foster and support entrepreneurship.
