Loïk Narby

Loïk Narby is Swiss and Canadian, and lives in Dublin, Ireland. He is currently enrolled in a double bachelors degree programme, studying Financial Services and International Business Management. He is president of JADE Switzerland, the Swiss Confederation of Junior Enterprises.

Business
Loïk joined the Junior Enterprise of his University almost immediately after starting his first year in 2013. He became Network Manager of JEHEG, in charge of relations with other Swiss and European Junior Enterprises, and was department manager at the Junior Enterprise World Conference, which welcomed 400 Junior Entrepreneurs from all around the world, where he was in charge of speakers and the opening ceremony.

Loïk fell in love with this concept, and decided to engage himself at the national level – becoming in August 2014 Vice-President of JADE Switzerland – where the goal is to represent and promote the concept of Junior Enterprises. During his first term, Loïk focused on bringing back the network together, and organized a National Meeting in Geneva, to which more than a hundred Junior Entrepreneur participated.

He was elected as President of JADE Switzerland in June 2015, and is now focusing on organizing events, and on making the Swiss confederation financially sustainable. He notably manages collaborations with the World Economic Forum, the Young Global Shapers, and ASCO – the Association of Management Consultants Switzerland.

A Junior Enterprise is a student consultancy agency. The organisation is created and managed entirely by volunteer university students called Junior Entrepreneurs. Before they graduate, students in Junior Enterprises work with real clients and get paid for products or services, which they entirely develop and manage. Companies get great value, as the business model of Junior Enterprises enables them to offer quality at an accessible price.

Finance
Passionate of finance, Loïk co-founded with ten other colleagues the HEG Finance Club from Geneva School of Business Administration in Geneva, in 2013 when he was in first year of university. He was Equities Analyst, responsible for Consumer Staples and Consumer Discretionary industries, and quickly became Vice-President, in charge of external relations and marketing. Loïk Notably managed collaborations with Bank Lombard Odier & Cie, and SDS.

The main objective of the Club was to promote awareness and knowledge of the world of finance by bringing together passionate and motivated students to allow them to share ideas, improve their analytical and presentation skills as well as grow their professional network.
